Mediawiki-style templates: Transclusion and parameters

Question

I'm evaluating Confluence to replace a MediaWiki install that makes heavy use of templates with transclusion and parameters. Does confluence have equivalents to these, and if so, how easy are they to use? Are they fully feature compatible with mediawiki, or is it limited in functionality?

Also, if they exist, how easy is the importation process from MW to Confluence - will I have to run around afterwards and fix lots of templates up, or does it handle these cleanly without issues?

For imports: https://migrations.atlassian.net/wiki/display/UWC/UWC+User+Documentation

For Transclusion, Confluence comes with the "Include Page" macro, which does not go anywhere near the transclusion features in Mediawiki.

Then there is Scroll Versions (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.k15t.scroll.scroll-versions, commercial addon, developed by my company), which allows for better managebility of the re-use, but still has short-comings compared to Mediawiki's transclusion feature.
