I am exploring the use of a smart multi-row to create a parent/child relationship between two forms.
Initially creating the parent and child records are fine and work without issue.
- if I save the parent record and then update it to make a change to the parent or child data points, or attempt to add a new child record, I get an intermittent error message.
- if I do not get the error above and I update the the parent or child data points, it records the changes for the parent but re-adds the child rows.
- is there a way to see the master ID in the child form when just viewing the child form (is it a hidden field)?
- is there a way to assign the parent ID in the child form if the row is created in the child form?
