Is it possible to set the Space Directory as your default Confluence view instead of Dashboard?

Question

I'm finalizing a Confluence-based documentation site. For those anonymous users that come to view documentation it would be nice to have them drop straight into the Space Directory where documentation is categorized by language (English, Deutsch, Francais, etc.)

I could probably accomplish this using a redirect on our website or something, but wanted to see if Confluence had a setting to accomplish this.

This doesn't appear to be possible...at least not in v3.5.3. Too bad really. The Space Directory is really cool if you have a bunch of categorized spaces, then it gets hidden where no one will find it unless they know to look.

I ended up creating a "Space Directory" Space and setting it as my default home page. It's kind of a kludge but will let me move forward while I try to find a good permanent solution.
