Please suggest a confluence stable version to upgrade and upgrade path too

Hi All,

We are currently using Confluence v4.3.2, Please suggest a confluence stable version to upgrade and also specify upgrade path too.

Good point, although you need to get them upgraded quite urgently.  (Ideally to proper browsers)

Keep in mind that if you have users on IE8, then the last version to support IE8 is 5.5.6.

All the releases on the download page are "stable".  I'd always recommend using the highest "point" release of any version you select (e.g. if you are thinking of 5.3, and 5.3.0, 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 are available, take 5.3.2)

For versions, in theory, you could just jump to 5.8 in one step.  I'd test that first, but if you run into issues, try going to 5.0.3, then 5.8.latest
