Getting multiple status page alert

Hi Team,

I've subscribed to the email functionality on the status page. I added multiple ADMIN DLs (a@companyname.com, b@companyname.com, & c@companyname.com) and I'm part of two admin dl. Whenever the status page invokes alerts( like maintenance, outage, & resolved alerts). I'm getting alerts twice because I am part of two admin dl. I want to avoid multiple alerts. 

Please let me know how to avoid multiple alerts.

Thanks for contacting the community to ask how to stop getting multiple notifications sent for the same update. There isn't a way to do this on the Statsupage side since we are just sending the notifications to the distro list, but you could do something on your email side to stop it from happening.

One method would be to use a filter that filters duplicates to a different folder that doesn't notify you. The other way would be to ensure you are needed on both distro lists.

Also, the best way to avoid this from the Statuspage side would be to subscribe individuals to the page instead of using distro lists. We don't recommend distro lists for subscriptions because anyone on that list could mark the notification as spam and flag the email, or anyone on that list could unsubscribe everyone else since they are unsubscribing from the list itself and not their emails. I would check some of these options to see which is right for you. Hopefully, that information is helpful for you.
