Value for the field doesn't exists

While writing the JQL query getting the following error - The option 'xyz' for field 'abc' does not exist. Can anyone help me here?

Its only happening with the newly created values

Check your custom field context. Are the values different from project to project or even issue types? We are going to need more info that you currently provide in order to answer this question of yours.

The context is dedicated to the project and the values are different from other projects and there are no dedicated Issue types for this context its global
