Does ContentPropertyManager automatically removes properties when ... ?

Let say I have Page (or other ContentEntityObject) and few properties associated to this page. Does ContentPropertyManager automatically removes associated properties when I remove the ContentEntityObject from confluence DB?

Where are they even stored in the database? I can't find it anywhere.
