Need jira 9.10 on percona 8.0

In order to run Jira, version 9.10, it is stated in the official documentation that only Vanilla MySQL 8.0 is supported, and Percona-flavored MySQL is not compatible. Is there a solution to make the latest version of Jira work with Percona MySQL 8.0?
