Hi Jira community,
When I create a issue ticket in a board, the ticket books to all other boards in the same project.
How to set to rid of this issue?
Best regards,
Hi @KI and welcome to the community!
This has to do with the respective Board Filters. You'll need to reverse engineer those boards to understand what conditions bring issues onto those boards. Some common business logic that I've seen employed by project configurations with multiple boards:
Ultimately though, it comes back to understanding the board filters for all of the boards to gain an understanding of why an issue would appear on each respective board.
Adding to this...
Welcome to the Atlassian community, @KI
Make sure that you understand that issues are not created "in" boards. Issues exist in Projects. You may be viewing a board when you create an issue, or even click the Create Issue option that appears in a board column or in the Backlog screen, but the issue is being created in the associated project, not just "in the board".
Boards are a way to view and manipulate the issues that exist in projects.
Boards displays issue based on a filter that specifies which issues to show in a given board.
A given issue can appear in any number of boards based on the issue matching the conditions of the filter for that board.
Hi @Mark Segall @Trudy P Claspill
I appreciate your supports. Yes, it works with the board filter settings
Great!
