Create a custom field with logic

I would like to create a custom field called Change_Start_Date. I would like to check to make sure the Start Date is:

• 30 days from today is the Priority Field is Low
• 14 days from today if the Priority Field is Medium
• 7 days from today if the Priority is  High
• 1 Day from today if Priority is Critical

 

Additionally I would like to create a custom field called Change_End_Date with logic to check  and make sure the End Date is not occurring before the start date.

If you would like to set it automatically, you can do it with add-ons such as Automation for Jira, Script Runner, JMWE etc. Or you can add validations to check the date range depending on your need.
