Problem with second page of quick searches

Since going to 5.10.7, the quick search has been acting strangely.

If you search in all spaces, you will get the first page

If you then tell it to search in a specific space the "busy" indicator keeps spinning and does not return any results.

Is there a simple fix for this or is this a bug?

I don't know if it's a simple fix, but it's definitely a bug.  If no-one here responds with a solution then contact Atlassian Support.
