Issue History doesn't match Issue Activity

Hi all,

JIRA 6.2.3.

Yesterday a person new to JIRA created a ticket in a project. Let's call that user PersonA.

PersonA listed himself as the Reporter and Assignee.

But in reality PersonB was the Reporter. PersonA changed the ticket to list PersonB as the Reporter.

Now the Issue History tab shows the correct situation:

PersonA created issue - Yesterday 9:18 AM

But the Issue Activity tab shows the incorrect situation:

PersonB created PROJECTX-12345 - Build Foo Widget
Foo Widget needs to Bar Baz
Yesterday at 9:18 AM

Why don't they match? Is this a bug in 6.2.3?

There is a bug in the Actvity streams which it seems you've run into https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/STRM-2213

This is caused by JIRA 6.2 introducing the concept of creator vs. reporter as part of https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-4618

This seems odd. Can you reproduce it? Can you provide a screenshot of this? I have never seen something like this happen. If this can be reproduced consistently, and you have an up to date license for JIRA I would consider opening a support request with us so we can dig into the logs and see what is going on.
