@raks thakur This should be possible with the ScriptRunner behaviors feature (here is an example) or PowerScripts Live field feature (here is an example).

Hi @raks thakur

You should be able to do this using default values.

You'll need to be a Jira Admin, and then...

* Go to Jira Administration (cog icon in top-right) > Issues
* Select either "Custom Fields" from the left-hand menu
* Locate your field, then on the right-hand side of the row, select the breadcrumbs (3-dots icon) > Configure
* Select the hyperlink "Edit Default value"
* Enter the relevant text into this box (it accepts wiki markup)
* Set the default

^ This is assuming it's a Custom Field, rather than a System Field (eg. Description, Environment, etc).

If it is a System Field, you can select this from the left-hand menu in (2) instead, and edit the default value using these instructions, but only if you're on Data Center v8.16 or higher.
