Are there any apps that provide searchable photo galleries?

Question

I'd like to set up a Confluence-based photo gallery page in Confluence Data Center.  For each photo, I plan to include the photographer's name, the location where the photo was captured, and a brief description.

The kicker is, I'd like users to be able to search for photos on the page/gallery based on this information.  E.g., if a user is interested in photos of a specific community's location, they can search for that.

Are there any photo gallery apps that provide this functionality?  I've been combing the app store but haven't found anything promising.  Thank you!

Hi @Kyle Hardin

with our enterprise search solution "iFinder Confluence Search" all Confluence content and also the metadata of each attachment will be indexed and is foundable with a search query. In the iFinder search UI you can change the display of search results to a grid/picture view as well.

If you interested anyway on a high qualtiy search solution for Confluence, iFinder Confluence Search is available at Atlassian Marketplace.

It helps even the Confluence user without expert knowledge to search quite intuitively.

This enterprise search solution delivers top results based on linguistic analysis and offers many additional features.

These articles may help you:

• iFinder Confluence Search

• iFinder Search Macro

Let me know, if you need further information or like to get a demo first.

Hi @Kyle Hardin ,

I found the following open suggestion which will be released soon (Q4 2023):

* https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-2584

Searching Atlassian marketplace for the keyword found the following apps which support captions and galleries:

* https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=gallery* Advanced Image Gallery & Slider for Confluence
* Image Slider for Confluence

Hope it helps!
