Is there a way to move my epics with their child issues, comments etc using an automation.

Hi I want to once a month archive my older done epics from my timeline into an archive board that I have made. I want to move the epic including its child issues, comments and links etc. Id like to do this with an automation that I could run once a month?

Automation Rules do not currently support the Move Issue operation. There is too much that happens behind that scene to check if values need to to be mapped to alternate values, and determine if there are different fields that now require entries in the destination project.

Can you tell us more about why you want to remove the items from the current project? What problem are you trying to solve by removing them from the timeline?

Are you working with Jira Cloud or Jira Server/DC?

Are you working with a Software project or a Business/Work Management project? You did post this in the Jira Core community, from which I would infer that you are using a Business/Work Management project.
