Struggling to switch languages

Anyone here is also struggling to change the language of Trello from the default (which is in German without asking me!) to English? I tried the setting, and it brings me to Atlassian accounts, in which I can change the language, but it switches back to German when I go to Trello again. Any tips?

I saw a thread that some other people had the same problem, you may want to check it (it's from 2022, but there are comments from May and June 2023): https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Can-t-change-language/qaq-p/2157644 .

Some solutions that there are suggested:

• Disabling ad blocker extension in Chrome
• Following a separate language setting for Trello: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-your-language-in-trello/
