Is it OK to auth to REST with UserName: Token?

Hi,

I'm a bit confused as in the documentation I read about Bearer <token>. However, my old code works just fine with the following:

 

options.auth= user +':'+token

HTTP.call('GET', options.url,options);

Is it okay or are there any issues with that?
