Is there a way to set a due date that is recurring each month in a different date format?

I have monthly recurring checklists with due dates. Each month when the card repeats the due dates are the older dates from when I set up the recurring card and I have to go into each item and manually alter the due date for the current month. Is there any way that I can set due dates like this: 5th, 10th, 15th, etc; instead of 5/5/23, 5/10/23, etc?

I am just starting to use trello so I am sure I am not using it to its capacity but my checklists are growing and having to alter each individual item in a list of 30-50 items is tedious. I am also technology challenged so it is very possible that I am doing this the hard way and there is already a fix for this that I just haven't found.

Hi Brandie,

Thanks for sharing your context on the checklist. Here is an updated solution to have an automation that works with one checklist with multiple items all with different due dates. These due dates will then be moved to the next month, but with the same day.

Below, I have one checklist with items that have different due date days for the current month of September. They could even have 1st or 3rd of that month. Some I've marked as complete.

When the month of October comes, when the card repeats the due dates are still the dates from above? Are they also checked off?

If so, you can have the option to create a card button that can help unselect the checkboxes and also move the due dates to the next month which is October. You can find these Actions in the Cascade option tab and checklist tabs. The order of the Actions is important.

Once I have created the card button, I can then use it on the recurring card and it will adjust the checklist item due dates to the next month:
