Location/path of deleted/trashed attachments in confluence server

Question

Hello,

Right now, I'm evaluating our Confluence Server instance in preparation for a Clean-up. And with the help of a few queries, I noticed that the trashed and deleted attachments are consuming a sizeable amount of disk space—roughly 110 GB. However, I was unable to locate where these were on the server.

Could someone tell me the location of these trash/deleted items in the server, please?

Thanks in advance

In Confluence Server, deleted or trashed attachments may remain in the file system under long path directories like <confluence-home>/attachments, which Long Path Tool can help access if standard tools fail.

Hi @Akhila Gade

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

As far as I know once you delete any attachment from the Confluence UI it is available in space trash folder so that when we try to restore the old version of page where attachments are present, but we delete the page from there as well it will permanently get deleted from the backend as well,

Also, where do you see that 110 GB space is acquired by the deleted attachments, because Confluence attachement storage hierarchy structure does not let us where the attachment is stored with respect space key etc like in Jira folder is created with project key where issue attachments are stored.
