filter based on status of predecessor?

Is there a way to filter based on the status of predecessors? Basically I want to show only items that are "ready to work", as in there are no open predecessors.

You will need a plugin like JQL Tricks to search based on links. JIRA, by default, only lets you search links for a given issue.
