Confluence mentions and email updates

unknown

After using the @mention on a page and saving it - a user is sent an email notification.

Upon editing the page a second time, such as making their name bold (to signify attendance in a meeting), and then saving - does this send the user another email notification?

With other successive updates to pages where someone is mentioned, are notifications sent then too?

It will not unless the user watch the page personally.

Same thing as above.
