I am testing to upgrade confluence from 3.1.1 to 3.5.9 on our test serverI now have it setup for single sign on with crowd. I would like for test purposes to turn this of, so confluence handles users on its own.
You need to reverse the process at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Integrating+Crowd+with+Atlassian+JIRA
It is extremely difficult; I ended up reinstalling. I know, that's rubbish advice, but I was unable to successfully reverse the process after 3 days of really trying.
