I want to auto-assign the Jira ticket to someone else if the assignee is on leave. Is there any possibility of reading the leave date from the calendar and handling the same?
Any leads will be appreciated
Hi @Tony Thomas where have you defined the vacation calendar of the user?
@Tony Thomas -
Please provide more information on where in JSM that you are tracking on your agent's working calendar?

Hi @Dave Mathijs ,
In confluence, we are adding the team vacation calendar.
@Joseph Chung Yin , currently added to the confluence calendar, Can we access that calendar and handle the same
Unfortunately, it is not possible using the calendar managed in Confluence.
However, if your env is Data Center, then you may be want to take a look at using Automation for Jira to manage issue assignee using automation rules -
Here are the reference links -

Hope this helps.

Agreeing with @Joseph Chung Yin on this one then.
Hi @Joseph Chung Yin ,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Is there anywhere can we configure the team's vacation plan and auto-assign based on that.
No need to access from the confluence. Currently we are adding our leave plan in confluence.
Regards,
Tony Thomas
Hello @Tony Thomas ,
We developed an app that solves this problem in a more comprehensive way, without changing the assignee. I suggest you take a look at Keychain - Delegation for Jira by OBSS.
With Keychain, you can set delegates for people and you can configure workflows and schemas that allow those delegates to perform actions.
