How to import sub-tasks from CSV separate from their parents

I am using the JIRA Importers Plugin to import issues from CSV. Is it possible to import sub-tasks and link them to parent issues which already exist in JIRA? The documentation only describes how to link the issues if they're both being imported from the same file.

Don't know about the importer, but JIRA Command Line Interface can be used to import subtasks associated with existing issues. See: release notes
