Enable text gadget

I am using jira 4.3  the text gadget it s disabled by default how can i enable it?

that s wright i am using 2 columns , i will try tonight in my ouse and if it helps i will mark as solved.

You can't change the size of the gadgets without coding. However, you can try different dashboard layouts to have some effect on the width - there's 5 options and you probably want the one that's 2 columns, column 1 = 66%, column 2 = 33%.

The length of the gadgets depends on the content

i clicked enable,,
yet i am using introduction gadget it helped me 
still i want to resize the width and height of the gadget
