How to export Assets objects with referenced attribute values

Question

I have one schema which holds all of our machine objects with some general attributes such as serial number, owner, status etc. and included in this schema is an attribute of type "Object" that is a reference to a second schema with additional data.

I need to export some data from the first schema and include the attribute data from the referenced object in the second schema.  Is this possible?
