Atlassian Plugin SDK for JIRA works fine if migrating to CLOUD/ DC

Hi Team,

We have built "Atlassian Plugin SDK" for JIRA and its been using for more than 2 years on-prem set up to trigger BAMBOO plans from JIRA tickets and do deployments. 

Now time to migrate our JIRA software server either to "DataCenter" or "CLOUD". I was referring "What gets migrated with the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant" documentation where mentioned like " workflow functions - triggers" isn't migrated. 

My query is : If we migrate  from server to CLOUD/Data center, our SDK plug-in works as-is or do we need to re-build the plug-in?

You will need to write a new app - Server/DC apps cannot be installed on Cloud, and the framework that supports apps is totally different.

It's not even a case of converting, you will need to start again.
