Emojis in board columns

Hi,

I am trying to add emojis to the title of the columns in my Kanban board. I add them using the shortcut: Windows button + semicolon as shown in the photo. However, after I add the emoji and go back to the board, they will not appear. Any ideas as why it is happening and how to fix it?

Welcome to the Community! To. be honest, I hadn't tried myself until you mentioned it. I'm on a Mac and I don't have the windows button, so what I did was to copy the emoji and paste it in the column name. It worked. Can you try on your end? Thanks

I cannot replicate that problem. I can add all manner of emojis to a board column name, then when I return to the board, the emojis are displayed in that column's name:

Does the problem happen for

all emojis or just some
all board admins or just you
all boards or just some
all web browsers or just some

Hi @[deleted], thanks for your answer. I tested these cases and it seems like that some emojis will not appear in the column titles.

OK. And are you able to advise what those 'some' emojis are?

There are so many that won't display, example attached. The 'tick' emoji displays in the 'Done' column, but none of the other emojis in the title of 'In Progress' columns display going back to the board.
