Setting Permissions on a Single Attachment on a Page

Question

Hi

Is there any way to set permissions on a single attachment on a Confluence page e.g. there might be 10 word documents attached, and I want to restrict access to just one of them.

If there's no built-in functionality, does anyone know of a plugin that can do this?

Thanks

Hi Joanna, thanks I hadn't thought of this. To be honest it's not really what I want to do, but I will suggest it to my user who wants this functionality as a possible workaround.

Cheers

Can you add the restriction to the document itself instead of via confluence? https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Password-protect-documents-workbooks-and-presentations-ef163677-3195-40ba-885a-d50fa2bb6b68
