How to modify owner team with policies?

I have a Jenkins integration that currently assigns alerts to `team-a`.

 

However, this Jenkins instance is used by multiple teams and each have their own jobs.

 

I would like to programatically assign certain alerts to certain teams in OpsGenie.

 

However, the global policies only allow me to add Responders. The owner team remains the one defined in the integration.

 

If I remove the team restriction in the integration, will I be able to specify owners using modification policies?

 

Also, if the team restriction is removed from the integration, how does OpsGenie know which team owns the alerts that came through that integration?

Hi @Giovanni Tirloni ,

If you remove the team restriction in the integration, and have it unassigned to any team - each Create alert action will reveal a responder field. Each action can filter on the job, field, etc. and assign the corresponding team to that specific action / alerts.

If only one team is added as a responder through this configuration, they would be considered the Owner team. If multiple teams are added, then neither is considered the Owner team.
