how do I use the due date system field in the jira slack add-on?

The add-on wants you to do custom messages in post functions and and instead of {{}} like automation is used $, like $issue.key. How ever I'm not seeing any option of the system field. I tried $isse.duedate as it's referenced in the api but not working. Please let me know it would like that field to be set. Thanks

Yes it is park of the screen, its a system field though so its not showing up. $issue.duedate is not working. Yes I can show you. In the screen show you see I tried a couple of options but none of them worked.

Yes, that's correct.  Smart values in Jira automation rules use the curly braces '{{' and '}}' to get the values of the issue fields while '$' is used in post functions for the same.

Was the 'Due Date' field part of the screen in the ticket issue type that you are trying to retrieve the value from?  The command '$issue.duedate' is correct.
