How to auto transitoin an issue based on project role

We want to be able to auto tranistion issues from the status of New to the status of Accepted if the reporter of the issue is in a specific project role.

I have been looking at the plugins but have not found how to set a post function or script listener based on a project role.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi,you can do this by adding a condition to the transition using one of the scripting utilities plugin like script runner or jjupin, jss.. or develop you own plugin.
