How to update parent issue custom field based on subtask issue custom field value.

Question

I am having a custom field (single selection values x & y) in subtask screen and having another custom field (single selection values A & B)  in parent issue screen.

I want to update value "A" in Parent if user selects "X" value in Subtask likewise update "B" in parent task if user select "Y" value in subtask.

Hi @Rajesh Raj - This is usually possible through the use of external add-ons like ScriptRunner for Jira or JMWE. If you have one of these add-ons installed or anything similar, usually the functionality you are looking for can be handled in post-functions (there are other solutions if you use ScriptRunner)
