When card added to list, email "email@address.co.uk" with card

Danny De'gaetano

Hi,

I want to create a flow whereby I move a card to a certain list and it emails someone to order that item.

Move card to list > email person with the title of the card, cover picture, description etc

I tried to do this as a report, where it would create a report for items in that list every x days and email the person, but it would be doing that on repeat which I don't want. I only want it sent initially when the card is moved.

Is there any way to do this, any help would be much appreciated?

Kind regards

You can use Trello's "Card Move" Power-Up and a service like Zapier to create a flow that will send an email to a specific person when a card is moved to a certain list.

Here's how you can set this up:

1. Go to the board where you want to create the flow and click the "Power-Ups" button in the top right corner.
2. In the "Power-Ups" menu, find the "Card Move" Power-Up and click the "Add" button to enable it.
3. Once the Power-Up is enabled, go to the list where you want to trigger the email and click the "Card Move" button in the top right corner of the list.
4. In the "Card Move" menu, click the "Add a Rule" button and configure the rule to trigger when a card is moved to the list.
5. For the action, select "Send an Email" and specify the recipient and the email subject and body. You can use variables like {cardname} and {carddescription} to include the title and description of the card in the email.
6. Click the "Save Rule" button to save the rule.

Now, whenever a card is moved to the specified list, an email will be sent to the specified recipient with the title, cover picture, and description of the card.

Alternatively, you can use Zapier to create a Zap that will trigger an email whenever a card is moved to a certain list in Trello. To do this, you will need to create a Zapier account and connect it to your Trello account. Then, you can use the "New Card" trigger in Trello and the "Send Email" action in Zapier to set up the flow.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
