JQL to get all issues updated in last 2 weeks

Hi,

I am looking for JQL to get all the issues which are updated in last 2 weeks. Having issue with maxResults as when I am not sending any value for maxResults then its returning default 50 issues only and when I am sending value for maxResults as 500 then 2 week condition is not working and its returning 500 issues as result. Is there a way to get the exact count of issues which were updated in last two weeks.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

You should be able to do this:

Updated >= -14d

If you run a JQL query the default output is a first page of 50 issues, but if you then click on the export button (top right of screen) it will export all issues that match into Excel or similar. So the export will match the full list of issues updated in the last 2 weeks. You could then browse them or make changes and batch upload them back.

I'm sure that you have the correct JQL already

updated >= -14d order by created DESC

As of now, I am using CSV to add/update issues and now trying to automate the process using Rest APIs.

I am using below JQL to get the issues updated in last 2 weeks but its returning 50 issues as result.

JQL=project=PROJECT_NAME&UPDATED >= -14d&ORDER BY updated desc

When I use below JQL then its returning 100 records included issues updated in last 2 weeks and issues older than 2 weeks.

JQL=project=PROJECT_NAME&UPDATED >= -14d&ORDER BY updated desc&maxResults=100

Is there a way to get the exact number of issues which were updated in last 2 weeks using JQL?

I think I understand, you're not using JQL through the website - maxResults isn't specifically a JQL command. It's a command for limiting or paginating the results that you get back from an API call. So I think you are calling Jira through the API.

When you use & in the call JQL API will truncate the JQL as soon as it finds an '&' - and expect API parameters after the & so your second call is effectively:

JQL=project=PROJECT_NAME&

This is why the updated filter is not doing anything.

So you need to use AND instead of & in your JQL, only using & for the API parameters

Something like:

jql=<strong>project=PROJECT_NAME and updated>=-14d</strong>&startAt=0&maxResults=100
