Some colleagues are able to add events to our Team calendar but other colleagues are not able to add events while there are no Restrictions to the calendar. Also in the Global space permission they all are set up with same permission to everything except to Space Export & Admin.

can you please advise how to solve this ?

You should be a confluence administrator for this.

To find the plugin version:
Go to admin settings --> Manage Apps.
Check for calendar plugin and click on it to find the vendor and version.

Direct url https://<baseURL>/plugins/servlet/upm/manage/all
To find the confluence version: Open any page and scroll to bottom. You will have a line like "Powered by Atlassian Confluence XXXX".
This XXX will be your confluence version
