How to setup 2 way integration between jira Datacenter and MS teams

Question

How to setup 2 way integration between MS Teams and Jira Datacenter? What are the possible add-one available?

Britta Neugebauer [yasoon] · Answer

Hi @khushboo_puri ,

there are a few apps available on the Atlassian Marketplace: Jira DC apps | Search MS Teams | Atlassian Marketplace

My preferred one is Microsoft 365 for Jira by yasoon (the company I work for). It offers a deep and reciprocal connection between Microsoft Teams and Jira.

* In your Jira issue: you can start a chat or channel conversation, see all discussions in the issue.
* In Microsoft Teams: You can search, share and discuss Jira issues. You can create a new Jira issue based on channel conversation. You can join issue-related conversations without needing a Jira user. You can work with your Jira board in a tab in Microsoft Teams - also, without needing a Jira user.

Here's a video how you can work with the app in ITSM: On point demo: Microsoft Teams meets Jira – Microsoft 365 for Jira - YouTube

And here's how to work with Jira boards in Microsoft Teams: Microsoft 365 for Jira – Feature explained: Work with Jira boards in Microsoft Teams - YouTube

That's all for now :-D If you want to learn more how to work with the app for Jira data center, don't hesitate to contact me or directly book a demo.

All the best,

Britta

hey @khushboo_puri ,

Atlassian has created their own integration app for that

I'd suggest to look thru the documentation to see if this covers your need.
