Columns by date in Kanban or Scrumboard

Question

For the teams operational work we use the standard kanban and scrum functions. However, when making increment plannings we would like to be able to see out issues in columns that can be set by date ranges based on due dates. This helps teams to visualize their planning.

Ideally we could use the functions of a kanban board but with column configuration based either directly on a date range or by calling a filter where we can set the date range.

e.g representing; Sprint#1, Sprint#2, Sprint#3, Increment+1, Increment+2,......

Keeping swimlanes as we already use in the operational kanban boards.

This would greatly help us in our large PI Planning events.

Any functions or app to recommend?

This is not possible, at least OOTB and I don't know it's up any add-ons for such a requirement. What you could do is create swim lanes by dates which would be horizontal rows instead of vertical columns.
