Can't connect to your H2 database. This may be because your H2 directory is read-only, or you are attempting to upgrade and the H2 version Confluence uses cannot be upgraded directly.

ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Index 0 out of bounds for length 0

The most likely explanation is that your H2 database is corrupted and almost certainly broken beyond repair.

What were you doing when you restarted your Jira here? Firing up a dev/test system? A development system inside the SDK? Testing an upgrade?

Hello, I didn't do any of this. I've just restarted the VM with the confluence one day, but it didn't load.

are there special tools for check/repair H2db files?

You'd need to install an H2 database suite (the one in Confluence is just the engine and database, there's no supporting tools for it), from http://www.h2database.com/html/main.html , then I remember the only time I was able to rescue one was by using something called "Luke" on top of the install. I don't know if that is still around.

A VM restart is a good way to kill an H2 database - you must always shut down the applications using an H2 database before you reboot a machine, otherwise they could lose recent changes, or even just destroy your database.

An option you might have is to restore the environment from the most recent automatic backup.

Usually these are stored in confluence-local-home/backups
