Check Box Menu for Language

Question

I manage assets production for many languages and sometimes my stakeholders forget to add the languages they need. As a solution I would like to create a mandatory check box for languages options. Is this possible to create in Jira?

Hi Mariana, There is no so much to do actually as a Project Admin for your need. it seems that you need a field in the create screen to let the stakeholders select the language, so i would propose one of two options

1- Option 1:

* As a project admin you won't be able to create a new field but you can add existing fields to your screens (you cannot make them mandatory, only JIRA admins can).
* Try to search for an existing field for Languages and use it --> this solution will only work if there is an existing field and its context covers your project
* please make sure you can see it after addition in the create screen.

2- Options 2:

* consult JIRA Admins to create/Add the field for you and make it mandatory.

Yes it is possible but based on your JIRA permissions, the solution may differ

are you a project admin or JIRA admin?
