Hi Team,

I have couple of questions, kindly advise

1. I need to assign the task to team member but with his email id & name i could not find his details - so is that he should have access to Jira before assigning to him ?

if it is other way, please provide the steps - i followed in the path - User & roles/Permissions etc.

2.  I need to know the configuration for any changes made in the task list which should pass the alert mail to everyone who involved to the projects

what is the process to get the Jira admin access? & where do validate the admin access detail in the application?

Hi @chethankumar1

There is a permission called "Assignable User" in the permission scheme.

- You can check your project's permission scheme and check who has the permission currently.

- It is better to use a project role instead of single user here because then your project administrator can add/remove users from that role something like "Developers"

- You need to be Jira administrator to do this.
