IQL for current issueType

Question

Hello Atlassian,

I am looking for an IQL (introducing Insight field into Jira issueType) that is able to consider the current issueType during ticket creation.

Very similar way as currentUser or currentProject works.

Thanks, I will check this with our Jira Admins... so far that was a known limitation that 1 project, 1 field context configuration was possible independently the issue type.

Looks like this limitation is obsolete, and for sure this can answer my original question.

That would not require new custom fields.  It would just be new contexts on the same custom field that are based upon issue type.

Yepp, that would be an option, however that requires new custom fields for the same purpose. That is something that we try to avoid.
