Is there a good gadget to add text to a jira dashboard? All I want to do is add a simple paragraph alongside the jira gadgets when the user is browsing the dashboard.
@Haroon Habibi Use the Text Gadget. You can learn more here https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/using-dashboard-gadgets-938846990.html
Hello @Haroon Habibi
Take a look at the responses in this post to see if they provide sufficient recommendations.
alas, the text gadget requires something installed - I will ask our admins.
Hello,
If, like me, you reached this topic via search engine but you are on Jira Cloud -> check this official free plugin :-)

it does the job
Thank you. Definitely bare bones, but most basic text formatting is available. It also supports embedded links, images, and tables. Good enough for me.
