Hi!

In a project I have a process of delegating a task to another project. I need to check if the selected user is in the Developers role in that project.

I found isUserInRole(user,project, role). But in the user need to register the user name or  key.

How can I pull the key out of the field?

If you use a standard user picker field, it should be quite simple.

Run the following script from the SIL Manager (make sure to specify the issue context via Run Configuration)

string usertocheck = customfield_11606 ; // here custom field Id needs to be replaced with actual id
string currentproject = project;
string role="Developers";

return isUserInRole(usertocheck , currentproject , role);
