Has there been any discussion about allowing Jira Issue comments to be edited in their original block? My users have complained that the pop-out for editing does not allow full view horizontally of text.

Just to better understand the issue can you share a screenshot?
Upon further inquiry with the users. It appears this is an issue applicable to when a table is in the comments. The text does a proper wrap-around.
@Scott Howard Forbes Are you stating that the text at the top should not be wrapping and be the same length as the table?
No, the text is fine. The table insert is what they have an issue with. They would prefer to edit in the original comment field as opposed to a popout to alleviate this issue.
