E-Mail to Jira Handler won't accept attachments

We are using the Standard Mail Handler to receive E-Mails to create Jira-issues.

This works really fine. We got E-Mails and Jira creates the corresponding Issue.

We also need to process the Attachements. Those shall be attached to the Issue. 

How to configure Jira that this will work?

I did not find anything in the forum and on the documentation.

I hope you are well.

By default, Jira should process the attachments and add them to the created issue.
This is described in Creating issues and comments from email .

Some considerations:

• The user creating the issue needs create attachments permission on the target project.
• Attachments have a limit of 10MB - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-64322 .
• There's a known bug about it depending on issue level security configuration - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-32386
