Add Epic issue type

Question

Hello,

How can we add the Epic issue type?

We removed it some time ago in a previous JIRA version since it wasn't needed at the time, but now we need it.

Epic is an issue type which comes with JIRA Agile plugin.

If you have deleted it from the system then re-installation of JIRA agile plugin might help.

Hey Vera,

To add back Epic Issue Type, You need to add it back to corresponding Issue Type Scheme of the related project.

* Unfortunately, i fyou have deleted from system, you can only re-create them with same name and icon and just cannot retrieve old ones.

What do you mean by removed?
Is it removed from Issue Type schemes or deleted from system?
