JQL to find all Issues with linkType = Blocks for a specific issue (ex - Story)

Question

I've searched through a lot of similar questions but I can't seem to get the syntax correct. I have a story that has multiple blockers, and I am looking for a JQL query that quickly outputs all those blockers in a list.

My company uses

Jira v8.13.20

This gives me the story under an epic that has the "blocks" links, but I want to be able to query for the specific story and find the linked issues that are blocking it:

"Epic Link" = 12345 and issueFunction in hasLinks("is blocked by") and resolution is empty

If you want a better way to visualize blockers and filter and sort issues (especially if they could come from other projects), Dependency Mapper for Jira could help.

The app works with basic JQL, and then gives you some simple options to filter by issue type and link type, goes out and collects and all the dependencies, and displays them depending on how you want to group them (by project, Epic, Fix version...). There are nice visualization options (like a matrix, topology, and network), but you can also just use the spreadsheet view to filter and sort the results.

Perhaps like this:

key IN linkedIssues(myStoryKey-1234, "is blocked by")
