How to keep the numbers in red boxes shown as 5, 6, 7 instead of always 1?

I have read from your online support docs, telling me the following methord.

However, as I type double slash at the start of a line, it tells me to choose a date in my confluence instance.

Use Shift-Enter to have a 'soft' return (creates a new line, not a new paragraph), use Enter when the list should continue.
