Confiforms: Copy page and rename it

Hi

I want to copy a page with an IFTTT integration rule from a space to the same space. Sadly there can never be two pages in one space with the same name and the following error is risen:

"You cannot copy a page XXX. A page already exists with the title XXX in the space with key YYY."

Is there a way to copy a page with an IFTTT integration rule and rename it in the same turn?

Or is there a workaround to copy a page that is within the same space?

Hi

Confluence does not allow pages with the same title to be in the same space.

You can rename the page and then copy

Hi Alex

Thanks for the answer.
If I rename the page before copying it, I have the same error again, but with the new page title. Or do I missunderstand anything here?

You are right, I think it is a bug, as we really have a conflict resolver to be used when copying the page and the page with the same title exists...

Our validation should not be checking that beforehand and we will fix it (in the upcoming 2.27.3)
